This is a great website! My wife just bought an '86 last Saturday - I'm impressed!! The kickstand looks as though it had been slightly damaged in a way that it flops around a couple of inches when up. The leg looks straight but the pivot pin looks a bit bent. I tried to tighten the spring so it is a bit better, but now it has a tendancy to retract while she is placing the bike on it. There is no happy medium - Is it supposed to be positive locking when down and tight against the frame when up? Any info would help! Thx.
